Will RoadActive Suspension For 2019 Toyota Tacoma Give Smoother Ride Than Timbrens

Question:
I have a 2019 Tacoma with the Timbren Rear Suspension enhancement Part No TTORTUN4L and they do a decent job of absorbing bumps while towing and preventing squatting, however, I always find the ride to be very bumpy even without a load. So would the Roadmaster make normal driving less bumpy? Is the Roadmaster a better product over the Timbren?

That's a good question, and the answer is pretty straightforward - yes, the RoadActive Suspension (RAS) is going to give you a smoother, less bumpy ride than the Timbrens for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Like you mentioned, the Timbrens do their job well due to the stiffness of their rubber springs, but that stiffness can also cause the ride to be uncomfortable or even jarring as there isn't much give to them. The RAS will absolutely remedy that while providing the same - or better - enhancement for your Tacoma's suspension.
The reason for that is the RAS is essentially adding a stronger, active spring system to your truck. What it will do is continually reinforce your original leaf spring suspension, so when you are towing or have a load in your truck bed, that force gets transferred to the RAS Kit, allowing your leaf springs to work normally.
I generally recommend the RAS over most other systems because of how well it works with no trade-off like you have experienced with the Timbrens. The correct fit for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma will depend on if your axle is located above the leaf spring pack, or below the leaf spring pack:
- Axle Located Below the Leaf Spring Pack: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4514-SAT
- Axle Located Above the Leaf Spring Pack: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4524-SAT
