Recommended Tow Dolly For Towing 2021 Honda CR-V FWD Behind RV
Question:
2021 Honda CR-V FWD, need tow dolly to tow behind RV. Which trailer will work best? I know the steering wheel does not lock in place, NO Key. Will that matter on which trailer I need? Thanks for your help.

For your 2021 Honda CR-V FWD I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs # RM-2050-1 due to the 4250lb weight capacity being plenty for the 3350-3500lb weight of your vehicle, and it will be plenty wide for your vehicle to be able to drive on.
Since the steering wheel on your CR-V does not lock you will just need to wrap the seat belt a couple times around the steering wheel and then buckle it in place. Now pull the seat belt all the way out so that as you let it retract it locks.
You will need to make sure that you have a trailer brake controller installed in your RV, and you will need to install the Pollak 7-way Connector # PK12706 onto the dolly so that it can be hooked up to the 7-way connector on your RV.
If you do not already have a trailer brake controller I highly recommend taking a look at the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is a very reliable controller that is a favorite of our customers and installers.
If you can tell me the Year/Make/Model of your RV I would be happy to recommend the correct wiring to get this controller installed.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
