Question:

I have a Roadmaster 521448-1 baseplate on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Ive used two different Roadmaster towbars one Jeep mounted, one motorhome mounted with two different motorhomes with this baseplate. I have a new motorhome ordered and am going to buy a new towbar. I would like to simplify the setup as much as possible. Can I eliminate the crossbar Roadmaster 067 I used with the motorhome mounted towbar? Does Roadmaster sell direct connect arms for my baseplate? After searching it looks like the 521448-5 is the same baseplate I have with the direct connect arms. Maybe a simpler question would be can I use part number C002383/C002384 with my baseplate and if so are they available? Next question is which towbar would you recommend for my setup?

I confirmed with Roadmaster that you will be able to replace the arms of your Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521448-4 with the arms of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521448-5.

You'll need to fill out the form located on the # RM-ARMS page listed as "Installation Details" and send it into Roadmaster. The arms you're wanting to order are the C002383.
