Question:
The seals I purchased for the subject axle are too large, 2.25 ID. I see on your site seals for a 7000 lb lippert with a 2.125 ID. Please confirm if the 2.125 ID seal is the correct one for the subject NV# as I see 2.25 reference for other Lippert 7K lb axles. Thank you.

I reached out to my contact at Lippert and based on the NV 248685 your 7000lb Lippert axle uses inner bearing # 25580, outer bearing # 14125A, and grease seal # GS-2250DL.
Now this grease seal has a 2.250" I.D. which is the same as the seal you purchased, so I do not have a good answer to why yours is not fitting as that is what your axle was designed to use.
I was unable to find an order through us so I recommend double checking the dimensions of the seal you ordered to make sure it is actually a seal with a 2.250" I.D.
