Am I Able to Install a Lippert Handrail # LC799640 on the Right Side of SolidStep Manual RV Steps?

Question:
Is it possible to install 2 handrails. One on the right and one on the left. Im assuming the one on the hinge side might have to be removed when closing door or have you any thoughts?

I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, I confirmed with Lippert that they do not make handrails that are made specifically for the right-hand side of the SolidStep Manual RV Steps. However, my contact at Lippert did confirm that the mounting brackets for the left side will work exactly the same for the right side. With that being said, you can rotate the brackets of the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail # LC799640 to fit the stairs on the right side in addition to the left side. It is important to note that you will have to remove one side of the rails in order to close the door.
Also, if you are looking to buy the SolidStep stairs, Lippert makes different sizes depending on the height and width of your entryway. If you need more assistance with purchasing the right stairs, I would be happy to assist you if you provide the height and width of your RV's entryway.
