Compatible Rear Anti-Sway Bar For A 1999 Chevy Roadtrek 200 Popular

Question:

Did notice the other question regarding this bar for very similar RV, but, that isnt my concern. Ive reviewed the installation guide. My concern is on this RV, a portion of the grey tank on the drivers side is mounted directly under the frame rail. From the diagram Im concerned this tank might interfere with the sway bar frame bracket. Do the frame bracket attach to the inside or the outside of the frame rails? With the bracket mounted, how much under the frame rail does the bracket hang? Have you had any customer successfully mount this bar to a 1999 Chevy Roadtrek 200 Popular?

I spoke with a Roadmaster technician to verify the correct fit for your 1999 Chevy Roadtrek 200 Popular and found that the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar and Axle Mounting Kit # RM-1109-150-00 is the correct fit. The brackets will attach to the outside of the frame, as you can see in the attached picture from the installation manual. The end links are 12.19 inches from the center of the eyelet to the end of the threads so with it being bolted to the outside of the frame and that length down you shouldn't have any issues with your grey tank.
