Nothing takes the fun out of driving like feeling your rig lean and wobble through turns. This 1-3/8" diameter rear anti-sway bar ties the axle to the chassis, balancing weight transfer so cornering stays flat and predictable. Built from thick 4140 chromoly steel, it resists flex better than standard 1020 steel, giving you tighter handling and a more stable ride whether you’re loaded down or cruising empty.

Crosswinds and passing semis don’t have to wear you out. By cutting down side-to-side sway, this setup helps you hold a steady line without constant steering corrections. The bar braces the axle against the chassis to keep things level and calm, even when the road surface isn’t. The result is a smoother, less tiring drive that keeps you confident behind the wheel.
This isn’t a lightweight setup. The bar is made from 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength and long-term stiffness. Polyurethane bushings and grommets replace standard rubber, so they don’t break down from oil, gasoline, or ozone. That means less give in the system over time and more consistent support mile after mile.

Some drilling is needed - no complex modifications necessary. The bar attaches to the rear axle and chassis using the included heavy-gauge hardware, end link kit, and axle mounting kit. With clear instructions and bushing lubricant in the box, it’s a clean installation that with around common suspension upgrades without interference.
The larger 1-3/8" diameter increases torsional roll stiffness by nearly 30 percent compared to typical bars, giving it the muscle to tame sway under heavy loads. Lubricated bushings allow smooth pivoting where needed, so the system can flex just enough to handle uneven pressure while keeping your ride firm, balanced, and in control.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at Roadmaster's Line of Rear Anti-Sway Bars for motorhomes. You want to refer to our fit guide to find the appropriate sway bar for your vehicle. The large size and heavy weight associated with motorhomes can cause drastic amounts of sway when driving down the road. To help create a safer ride, and reduce driver fatigue, we can minimize the sway by adding an additional rear sway bar. So when making basic maneuvers or sharp turns, you'll minimize the risk of a rollover. Also, when driving on windy days, on uneven pavement, you can get a sway affect going back and forth, and you'll have to compensate for that with the steering wheel to maintain and safe, straight path. This additional bar will help reduce that amount of sway, making it easier to maintain control of your vehicle and reduce vehicle fatigue, 'cause you're not having to compensate as much. The Polyurethane Bushings will help dampen road vibrations, and additionally stand up to corrosive road oils, salts, and UV rays. The bar is made up of 4140 chrome steel, where most factory bars are only made of a lower strength, 1020 steel. And to maximize your reduction of sway, Roadmaster recommends you also get a front anti-sway bar. Using our fit guide at etrailer.com you can pick out the appropriate rear and front end anti-sway bars for your motorhome. Now we'll take our anti-sway bars out on our test course.
When we go into our alternating bumps, you can instantly feel a difference in the amount of sway. It's a lot more stable side to side then it was before, making it much easier to maintain control of the steering wheel. And then we'll head onto our straight bumps. When we hit those, there's a definite difference in how much forward and back movement than we had before. It's definitely a more comfortable ride than what we had. And again, it's easier to maintain control of the steering wheel. And now we'll head onto our slalom where we can really test our the sway capabilities.
So if we have some evasive maneuvers, how our motorhome would react. And it's a massive difference. When turning, there's hardly any sway. I feel much more confidence taking sharp, evasive turns. Our customer David S purchased both front and rear Roadmaster anti-sway bars, and had this to say."I installed front and rear sway bars on my 2006 Itasca Suncruiser after making a winter trip to Florida from Ohio. We made a return trip this past winter, through the smoky mountains etcetera.
The improvement in handling was so noticeable, my wife noticed it from the passenger seat. I highly recommend both of these products. I have a workhorse w24 chassis. Crosswinds and semi-push was very minimal. One handed driving in most situations in the norm now, and driver fatigue was minimal.
Driving the coach is much more enjoyable."And that completes our look at Roadmaster's line of rear anti-sway bars for motorhomes.

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

Install looks great Steven! I can't wait for you to take it out for a spin so you can see the difference for yourself, it is amazing what a upgraded sway bar does to your ride, no more white knuckles for you, or your wife. What big stops do you have planned on your trip to the West Coast?

What I recommend is touching it up with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. We will be in contact with you about the damage. Please keep an eye on your email.

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

Sounds like a much smoother drive, Riley! I looked up your camper to see how tall it is and I can see exactly why its called a Bigfoot. What's been your favorite place you've traveled to so far with the camper?

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!
