The Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 & 1621HD - 21,000lbs Item # LC158778 can have the air left in when not in use. The pressure will naturally decrease over time which is why the manufacturer recommends checking the pressure before each use.
