On the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapters like # RP85FR the internal air spring should be initially inflated to 35-psi pressure after the trailer is hitched and the landing gear have been retracted.
From that starting point you can use the indicator on the driver's side of the box (please see the linked photo) to fine-tune your pressure up to the maximum of 50-psi. The indicator will show green when you have reached near to the optimum pressure; once green just add a few more pounds of pressure and do a test-drive, applying the brakes a few times, which will automatically vent off any excess air pressure.
This procedure and other important information are contained in the unit's written instructions, which I have linked for you.

My comment is more of a question about missing green markes. In May of this year I replaced my Tow travel trailer with a 5th wheel. I elected to replace the traditional 5th wheel hitches with the Lippert (Reese) goose-box. My issue is, I am unable to find any of the GREEN marking that about as the reference in setting the correct air pressure for tongue wt. I tried setting pressure down to zero and up to 50lbs, the only GREEN marking I'm able to locate is the sticker with an arrow pointing at the safe locking position. At this time I have set the current air pressure of 42 lbs by referencing a black bar (which will move up and down with air pressure changes) in the middle of the site hole (round hole) on the side of the pin-box. Thank you
