Question:

I see some videos show removing the stop bumper shell others clamp right onto the shell. Which one would be my 2018 ram 1500 4x4 wiith your air lift 88365

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88365 will require the jounce bumper cup to be cut off of your 2018 Ram 1500. This can be done with a cut off wheel on a portable grinder or with a reciprocating saw. Once removed you will want to clean up any welding material or pieces that did not come off until the surface is flat and then apply a rust preventing paint or undercoating to protect the steel. I have attached a copy of the instructions that shows this process. This system is rated for a 5,000lb capacity and will not fit models with the factory air ride system.

I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ for controlling the air bags air pressure on your Ram. This will allow you to adjust your settings to each bag individually with either the included wireless remote or your smart phone. The smart compressor will maintain the settings to within 3psi so there is no need to monitor your air bags. This is extremely helpful as it will never let the the air bags drop below the minimum 5psi either.
