Question:

Do I need the longer lug nuts, 12CLN-L, with this wheel? I read that the wheel holes are recessed, and you cant get a lug wrench on the standard 12CNL lug nut. Also, are these wheel and tire combos balanced before being shipped?

When it comes to The Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14 inch Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM32195, you will need The Americana Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - Chrome Plated - 1/2 inch-20 # AM90049. The lug nut measures 1-3/4 inch long by 3/4 inch outer diameter.

Trailer tires do not have to dynamically balanced like passenger car tires, because the trailer tire's primary duty is to support a vertical load. Steering and cornering concerns apply less to trailer tires but you can still have them balanced at a local shop if you would like.
