Question:

I am trying to find a good hitch for my ebike. I have a 1.25 inch hitch, the bike weighs 70lbs. Everything I have found so far is for 2inch hitches. I would like the platform type for easier loading. I dont need load assist, but I do want the tires to sit on a platform... It is a womens step thru. It is an Aventure Step thru if that helps with making a recommendation

Yes, we have some options for you but in order to make the weight limit rating will need to remove items from your e-bike when hauling them. Such as the battery which is something that is suggested on all e-bikes even when being transported on a bike rack with a heavy weight rating.

The Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes, # SA4412B , fits both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches with use of a removeable sleeve. This has a weight rating of 60 lbs. per bike. But if you remove the battery and possibly the seat from your bike you should be able to make the max weight rating. The # SA4412B-FB is the same rack for fat tire bikes.
