I had our warehouse measure the Demco Slide-Lok Trailer Coupler - Adjustable Channel Mount - Primed - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM05823-97 you were looking at and from the center of the mounting hole to the back edge of the bracket measures 3/4" as shown in the included diagram.
