Question:

Will this unit replace my current Dometic Duo Therm model 59516.303? Production number is 9917603 and serial number 0153432. If so, will it also work with the existing thermostat? Thanks in advance. Chris

The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu - White Item # ACDOM150 is designed to plug straight into your Dometic air distribution box so you will still be able to use your existing thermostat. The start capacitor will jumpstart your AC when camp power or generator power isn't enough.

When you remove your old rooftop unit you may find your gasket is worn out so I recommend the Valterra Sealing Foam Gasket for RV Air Conditioners - 14" x 14" Openings - White Item # A10-1414 for a replacement to prevent water leakage in the RV.
