  Yes, you can use the Valterra Foam Weather Stripping for RV Air Conditioners # A10-1414 to replace the gasket on your old Dometic rooftop unit. I can not stress enough though to not drag the unit when you're swapping these out. It will tear the gasket up and and roof membrane which is a nightmare to fix/replace. As for the wiring size needed that will depend on the unit but you'd be safe using 10AWG or thicker wiring for the AC power to the unit.
