The Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector part # HM48110 is a trailer side connector which is designed to be installed on the towable. If you're instead looking for the vehicle side which is designed to be installed on the tow vehicle then you will need the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector part # HM48030. These harnesses both require splicing whether you are just replacing a trailer connector or wiring one for the first time.
