The Hitch I recommend for your 2022 Chevy Colorado is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13176. This hitch is Made in the USA, will fit all models of the 2022 Colorado and has a bolt-on, no drill installation. This hitch will also provide you with a 2" receiver opening which is the most common size opening used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers and ball mounts.

If you are planning to do any towing and do not already have a wiring connector at the back of your Colorado I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11141164. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, run the red hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery. You can use the Hopkins Fold-Over Mounting Bracket # HM48595 to mount and store your 4-way for easy access.

If you are needing a ball mount and hitch ball you can add the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989899. This kit will provide you with 2 ball mounts, 2 different hitch balls, 2 pin and clips and a storage bag.
