Recommended 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado

Question:

Have a 2015 Chevy Colorado. Picked out a hitch, but have no clue on what wiring package to buy. The existing back exterior cover is just a dummy with no wiring going to it. Do not see any towing wiring under the bed. Not sure what to buy. Tow a small boat twice a year. Trailer has four connection. Just looking for something simple to install.

The best trailer wiring harness for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector part # HM11141144 because it comes with both 4 and 7-way trailer connection points and it installs inside the factory bumper cutout. The Colorados all come with these wires already run to the best of my knowledge. If you need help finding them take a look at the video below.

If you can't find the wires then we do have the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Connector part # HM11141164 which will also work and ties in behind the tail lights.
