Hey there, I’m trying to find a Plug and play trailer wiring harness for a 2019 Chevy Colorado WT. Every single one I find requires splicing into existing wires, which I am trying to avoid. Do you guys by chance know of a Plug and Play Trailer wiring Harness for this make and model of vehicle? Thank you for your time.

We do have the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11141164 which will allow you to plug into the tail lights on your 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. Do understand this will require you to run a dedicated power wire to the battery under the hood and only gives you a 4-way flat connector.

Most people tend to go with the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM11141144 since they are simply splicing into wiring that is already terminated on the factory harness. I have linked an installation video for this at the bottom of the page which you can see is actually a quite simple install with only really needing a Wire Crimping Tool # PTW30764. I do wish GM would have already added the Connector # 20147 from the factory as this would have made it a simple plug and play for everyone.
