How do I pull the panel out enough to slide the new tailgate seal into groove? Tx

In order to install the Replacement Tailgate Top Seal for Pace Edwards Retractable Tonneau Covers # PE99CV you will need to start with the tonneau cover completely open. You'll then remove the tonneau railing caps or stop blocks, remove the 2 hex screws at the tailgate of the tonneau rails and remove the rear clamps. You'll then want to lift the end of the rail up to remove an inner screw that will reveal itself (one on each side) and need to be removed with a phillips head screwdriver. Set the rails back down on the bed rails and tighten the clamps back down and pull the cover beyond the tailgate end of the tonneau rails. You should then be able to slide the old seal off and slide the new seal on- you may need some soapy water to act as a lubricant during this process.
You'll want to use some Blue Loctite like the Loctite Blue Stick Threadlocker - Medium Strength - 1/4" to 3/4" Nut/Bolt - 0.32 Oz Stick # LT37643 to ensure that the screws don't drop out.
