Will Draw-Tite Spare Tire Carrier 6715 Work With Kuat Pivot 2 and 2" Receiver On 2017 Toyota Tacoma?

Question:

Will this work on my 2017 Tacoma that has the Drawtite 2inch hitch plus a Kuat Pivot2 swing away? My Tacoma has 33inch tires. Also how to prevent it from wobbling, u-bolt or is there something better?

Yes, the Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Universal Spare Tire Carrier # 6715 you were looking at will fit in the Draw-Tite 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver you have installed on your 2017 Toyota Tacoma, and will work just fine with the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch # PVP20B.

Since the # PVP20B has a 250lb weight capacity and the # 6715 only weighs 18lbs you will be plenty under the weight capacity even when your 33" tire and wheel is loaded.

To prevent the tire carrier from moving in the swing away adapter I recommend adding the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # 63232 which will not only prevent the carrier from moving, but will also lock it to your adapter.

Now to keep the adapter from rattling in your trucks trailer hitch receiver I recommend the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches - Vinyl Coated Steel # e99007.

With both of these devices you will not need to worry about wobbling when on the road.
