Replacement Panel for WF8725 to Allow for Charging Lithium Battery

Question:

I have a popup camper with an older power panel with converter wf8725. I purchased a lithium battery for my trailer and now I want to add a dc to dc charger. I only see one set of terminals to the batter on the trailer. Could I use dieode RM-690 to separate my battery to return power from the lithium battery back to the 12v system? I am thinking of a loop from the converter 12v to dc to dc charger to battery to the rm-690 then back to the 12v system.

In order to upgrade a WF-8735P to lithium capability you'll have to swap the entire panel. The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger part # PD4135K is my recommendation.

You run more than one thing from the terminals of your battery whether it's for charging or powering other accessories so you would not need to create a loop to allow for a second set.
