Question:
Expert Reply: In order to mount a Thule cargo box on a 2015 Lexus GX 460 you can use the Inno Aero Crossbar System part # INXB123-130, part # INXS350, and part # INTR152. The Inno Aero Crossbar System installs via clamping onto the roof side rails which I have attached a photo of for you. This system can support up to 140 lbs. The other option for this vehicle is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA126B-3, part # RRRCH6, and part # RRRCP23-BK which installs into fixed mounting points that will be present once the factory side rails are removed. This system can support up to 220 lbs. These options will both work with the Thule Force XXL and there should not be any issue with the rear shark-fin antenna. If the above is not what you are looking for please just let me know and I would be happy to try and see if we have other options for you. My question is this...my vehicle has flush mounted roof side rails...can I buy raised roof side rails to make your answer above work if I swap out the flush mounted rails for the raised side rails? Do you have those rails and will they work on my model?

Yes, it does appear that you could replace the flush rails with raised rails. We do not carry any rails that offer that solution for your 2015 Lexus GX 460, but the rack I am recommending will definitely meet your needs by attaching to the flush rails already in place on your roof. The 2015 Lexus GX 460 Roof Rack by Yakima will work on your vehicle. It consists of the following items;
Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 50" Long - Qty 2, part # Y00425
SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems - Qty 4, part # Y53TR
Landing Pad 30 for Yakima SkyLine And Control Towers - Qty 6, part # Y25ZR
Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 4), part # Y07204
This rack has a weight limit of 165lbs. The bars are elliptical in shape to help reduce wind noise while helping with fuel efficiency. The have a t-channel, so they will work will all channel mounted accessories as well as those accessories that clamp to the crossbars. This rack can also lock to the vehicle with the addition of the lock cores.
I have included product description links and video review links below.
