Frame-Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver And Bike Rack Options For Imagine 2500RL Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2020 Imagine 2500RL and would like to add a bolt on 2 inch receiver hitch to the frame to carry a bicycle rack. What would you recommend? I want to make sure the hitch would clear the rear sewer hose bumper and is compatible with my TT model. Thanks

The Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" # C13701 is a popular option as it is adjustable and fits frames from 18" wide to 51" wide. This can be welded on or bolted on to the frame. I attached a photo of this receiver installed on another RV so that you can get an idea of how it looks installed and compare it with your travel trailer. Then you could install any travel trailer compatible bike rack with a 2" shank such as the Swagman XP - 4 Bike Rack # S64940.
