Question:

all of the pintle hooks have 1/2 inch holes, and the bolt kits have 1/2 inch bolts. What I see in the specs is that all of the prefab mounting plates for 2.5 and 3 inch hitch have 9/16 holes. do you recommend bolting a pintle hook with 1/2 inch holes to a mounting plate with 9/16 holes? I have ford super duty F350 with 3 inch OEM hitch. what do you recommend for 12 to 15 ton pintle ?

I had the bolt holes on the Super Titan Forged Pintle Hook Plate for 3" Trailer Hitches # RP38186 measured, and they are actually 5/8". That being said, I suggest going with the Curt Pintle Hook # C48215 to attach to it. This does include 1/2 inch hardware, but is rated up to 30,000 pounds and will work very nicely.
