With this extended shank and tailgate down what are the restrictions on turning with bumper tow camper attached?

The 18 inch long Equal-i-zer weight distribution shank part # EQ90-02-4600 does give most trucks and trailers the ability to tow with the tailgate down like it sounds like you are planning on doing and like what you see in the attached picture. Now it's pretty hard for us to say exactly what type of restrictions you'd have for turning since there are factors we can't know like the height of your tailgate and the distance to your trailer jack etc. but what I would recommend you do is hook everything up like you are planning on towing and then make some test turns to see what you'd need to be aware of.
