Why Does Tekonsha T-One Connector 118800 Not Match Wire Layout Of Connector In 2019 Acura RDX?

RE: 118800 wiring harness for 2019 Acura RDX, The trailer connector on the vehicle has the hot wire on the upper-right pin. See pic WH1. It has 12 V after I ed a 7.5A fuse in the small trailer fuse slot. But the connector on 118800 has the Black power pin on a different location upper row, 2nd from left. See pic WH2. I have not connected the 118800 connector yet to the vehicle connector because I think the fused power pin black that goes to the module needs to be moved to match the location on the vehicle connector. I am also not sure that if this is correct I know how to move the pin on the 118800 connector. Do I need to move the pin on the 118800 connector? If so, how do I do that? WH1 is the pic of the vehicle connector. WH2 is the pic of the 118800 harness.

Since the connector on your 2019 Acura RDX only has 1 red wire, your vehicle does not have the plus 12v power provision meaning the Tekonsha # 118800 is not the correct harness as it is designed for vehicles with the plus 12v power provision. Moving the wire on the connector is not recommended as it will void the warranty of the harness.

Instead you will need to use the Tekonsha # 118804 which is the correct harness for your RDX without the plus 12v power provision.
