How To See If 2019 Acura RDX Has Plus 12v Power Provision Without Removing Interior Trim Panels

Question:

The expert reply on the website says I need to remove all the interior trim to see if the connector has one or two red wires. Is there any other way to know without removing all the interior trim. For example, is the prewire there if the car has a certain option or time package? I hate removing all the interior trim and the putting it back together just to pull it back apart when the correct harness arrives.

The expert reply you were looking at is correct. The only way to confirm if your 2019 Acura RDX has the plus 12 volt power provision is by removing the interior trim and seeing if the factory connector has one or two red wires.

I can completely understand not wanting to do this just to see which harness will work, so I recommend just going with the Tekonsha # 118804 as it will work with or without this provision due to this harness requiring you to run a power wire to the positive post of your battery with the included in-line fuse.
