Replacement Hitch Pin for Thule Bike Rack

Question:
I have locking bolts etc at another location so, don’t want to buy a whole kit. Can I just buy a regular bolt and nut for time being ? If so I am confused as to the size 5/8 ? Thanks

We have replacement hitch pins for Thule bike racks with the part # 853-5917 which would be your best option since you only need just the pin. The thread size is 12 mm.
