What is Size of Thule T2 Classic Hitch Bolt 8537012

Question:

The size listed here says 1/2-inch but my existing bolt is obviously 3/4-inch, The reason I came here was to try to find the exact size of the factory manufactured bolt, as Im not sure if its 19mm or 3/4-inch, a tiny fraction of a difference but still, I want to know. Hard to find what the actual spec is. Googling brought me to your site. Do you guys know? Is it originally metric or SAE? I have the the classic T2 with the 2-inch hitch thanks in advance!

The bolt size of the # 8537012 is 1/2 inch -13 UNC as we have verified that with Thule. The confusion I believe is that a 3/4 inch wrench is used to loosen/tighten it, but the diameter of the bolt where the threads are is 1/2 inch.
