Question:
I have question for this part and my 2018 Nissan Rogue. What is the difficulty level for installation? 1-10? I have tools, torque wrench, etc. Also when I looked at an equivalent from the dealer, it was of course much more expensive, but there was also a note about also having to replace the automatic kick sensor, another $340! Is that required with this part as well? Nissan: All If vehicle has Motion Activated Liftgate, the Electronic Control Unit, ECU must be replaced with part number 285T1-4BA1B This will be used mostly for a bike rack, but also with a small trailer to tow a riding lawn mower, dump runs, lowes/home depot stuff that wouldnt fit inside, etc.. I assume the capacity listed would be fine for that as long as I keep it under the specs. Thank you

The difficulty of installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75902 on your 2018 Nissan Rogue is 6 out of 10 due to it requiring minor trimming to one of the underbody trim panels if you choose to reinstall it.
For the most part the install is very straight forward, and is definitely something that can be done at home since you already have the required tools.
While the # 75902 will partially block the rear lift gate sensor, it will not disable it. You will just need to place your foot on either side of the receiver tube to activate the sensor.
Since you mentioned you will be occasionally towing a small trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118480.
If you do not already have a bike rack I recommend taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY94FR which will fit your vehicle and the # 75902 perfectly while accommodating two bikes weighing up to 35lbs each.
I included installation videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
