Thanks for the picture.
In the picture of the vehicle end connector it is showing that the center pin has fallen out and will need to be replaced.
For a replacement you will need either the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket - Vehicle End # PK12-707E if your connector is hardwired with not removeable connector on the back, or the # PK11893 if your connector has a removeable US Car connector on the back.
If you can tell me the Year/Make/Model of your vehicle I would be happy to confirm the correct replacement for you.
