First, be sure to consult your vehicle specific owners manual for OEM information on towing your vehicle.
If you choose to flat tow your 2013 Honda Pilot you will need several items, again please consult the vehicle specific owners manual first.
The first item needed is the base plate kit, I suggest the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, # 521568-1. This is a confirmed fit for your 2013 Honda Pilot. In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon 2, # RM-520. For safety cables you can use # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.
For lighting you can use the bulb and socket kit, # RM-155, eleminating the need of splicing into the vehicle wiring. You will probably require the removal of a fuse to flat tow so you will also want the fuse bypass part # RM76511.
Because most states require supplemental braking in the towed, the easiest to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot, # BLU37TR. This will apply the Honda's brakes in proportion to motorhome braking being applied.
