Question:
Trailer frame is 8.5 inches top to bottom well over the 6 inch limit I see for these hitches, I need a hitch of this type to use on 2.5 inch receiver on my new F250 with towing capacity upgrade package - would prefer a 2.5 hitch instead of running adapter to 2 inch, Any such hitch available ?

You will need a weight distribution hitch like the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System w/ Shank - 1K TW, 10K GTW # C24UR which uses clamps to will fit any height frame rail as long as it is not more than 2-3/4" wide.
This hitch works with total tongue weights between 800-1000lbs, so as long as that matches your setup this would be a perfect option.
For a shank that works with the 2-1/2" receiver in your new 2021 Ford F-250 I recommend the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches - 12" Rise - 9-1/4" Drop # C17132 which will not require you to use an adapter.
Moving on to the sway control portion there are a few different options compatible with this hitch. The first is friction sway control # 17200 or # 83660. These will bolt to the frame of your trailer and then connect to the head of the # C24UR to prevent sway from occurring. If your trailer is 26' long or longer using two friction sway control kits is recommended.
The other option is the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 which senses sway and activates your trailer brakes to control sway before it even starts.
I included a video of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
