Brake Lights Not Working After Install of RM-88400

Question:
After installation of this kit, watching your videos and reading the instructions, the brake lights no longer seem to work when the 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is powered off. Is this the expected behavior after installation of the kit? Would it continue to work while the vehicle is NOT running if we wired the fuse into an always on fuse location in the panel?

If you have a flat tow wiring kit with diodes, then you need the Roadmaster # RM-88400 Brake Light Relay Kit. It is normal behavior for those lights not to work when the wiring kit is active. We want the towing vehicle (through the wiring kit) to control those lights.
