Question:
Hello I have a grand design 5th wheel GD ST344GK 38’ 2019, dexter axles 7k model 7658660 I would like to install a set on bolt on shocks by Lippert on the axles to assist in bounce with dips and pot holes. Looks to be a 3” tube type Can you advise if these will assist and what Lippert model

Expert Reply:
The Lippert bolt on shock kits will definitely help with bounce and will smooth out the ride. These are specifically designed to enhance the factory leaf springs when they are not pulling their weight. That being said, with a 7,000 pound, 3 inch axle, you will need to go with the Lippert # LC281281. Please keep in mind that these are for a single axle, so you would need to purchase one set per axle.
