Tips for Difficult to See Furrion Vision S Screen of Monitor
Updated 07/01/2024 | Published 04/23/2021 >
Question:
I have Furion No. FCE48TASL-05 Vision S 5 inch Monitor with 3 wireless cameras on my 2005 Newmar Kountry Star RV. The issue is I can hardly make out what the monitor is showing due to the sun brightness, regardless of what I sides or back . I thought maybe a sun shield would help, but did not see a sun shield available. Would a sun shield provide any assistance and if so are you able to recommend a sun shield? I have also adjusted the brightness on the monitor but it still does not provide any assistance.

If the Furrion Vision S system part # FCE48TASL-05 that you referenced has to compete with the brightness of a sunny day it's going to be more challenging to see the screen, so yes, a sunscreen would help as it would make the brightness of the display stand out more. Since we don't carry a sunscreen for it you could try to get creative and fabricate one or if you could move the display into an area with less sunlight that would work too.

Totally agree with the issue. As much as these cost, this should not be an issue. Furrionneeds to address this issue. We are on the road now with a 38ft travel trailer. My husband is having to put it between his legs just to watch the sides & back. Not an ideal situation
