Is There A Way To Clear Up A Blurry Image From A Furrion Vision S Rear Camera
Updated 07/28/2025 | Published 04/03/2023 >
Question:
I have a Furrion Vision S Single backup camera on the rear of my travel trailer. Always has worked fine, until this spring. The image is very blurry. I have cleaned the camera lens several times. I have unpaired and repaired this thing three times, It says Paired. I can see the image but it is very blurry. I am at a loss as to what to try next, other than get another camera. Thanks,

You've actually done everything you really can do to try and troubleshoot the blurry image from your rear camera so you are in the replacement phase now. Most likely the seals on it failed and allowed moisture to build up inside the lens causing the obstruction. Instead of having to repurchase the entire system you can get just the rear camera # FCN48TASF to save a bit of money.
I've attached a short video below where Dave will walk you through replacing a bad rear camera to help walk you through the process. I do recommend using a bit of gasket maker over the top of the shark fin mount to help prevent any water from getting in behind the camera and causing any issues down the road.

i read the question that was asked by Joe H. i did all the same thing to correct it. i don't understand if it's weather proof why would it fail and have to purchase another camera ? they are not that cheap.
