Replacement Brakes for Dexter 2,800 Lb Axle

Question:

Good morning, Ive been trying to find a replacement electronic brake set that will replace the one currently installed on a 2800 lb rated dexter axle for a 1998 starcraft venture popup trailer. None of the replacements seem to have that exact rating so Im curious which one would be the best fit. There are currently 13inch wheels and when I removed the hub recently to inspect the brake assemblies I noticed pretty much every part inside was lightly covered in rust including the drum itself. I tried to clean it up with steel wool but I think it may be a sign that its time to replace. Could you give me some pointers on which parts I should be looking at? I can send some photos of things if you need more clairifcation. Thank you for the consideration.

The Dexter 2,800 Lb Axle uses a 10 x 1-1/2" braking assembly so you can replace these with the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # K23-472-473-00.
