Best Suspension Enhancement for 2019 Toyota Tundra for Support and Ride Quality
Updated 04/13/2021 | Published 04/12/2021 >
Question:
A couple years ago, I installed Airlift Loadlifter 5000s with compressor on my 19foot Tundra. The fifth wheel I have is a 150 Series for half ton trucks and Im under both my payload and towing capacity. Ive pulled it from Michigan to through the Smokie Mountains four times and the truck tracks great, I run in overdrive at 70mph. My truck levels out at 25psi but Ive been running at 70 psi because when I travel over bridges the transition makes the unit bounce quite a bit. Not just down, up, down. Add a couple more up downs... I know I can run the pressure up to a 100psi but I start getting worried about loss of air pressure as a risk to a worry free trip. So Im thinking of switching to either helper springs or Timbrens but would like to keep the smooth ride when unloaded. Thoughts? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
If you wanted the best suspension support for your 2019 Toyota Tundra and the best ride quality what you want is the RAS system part # RAS34FR. This will give you adjustable suspension support like you are wanting but unlike other similar options this will improve ride quality loaded and unloaded.
