Mounting Points and Removal of Bumper Cover To Install Roadmaster Base Plates on 2012 Suzuki SX4

Question:
I was wondering if the base plates were mounted to the frame or not? Im guessing yes if its able to be tugged by over a ton during tow. For theinstall can it be done without pulling off the bumper on these style plates?

The Roadmaster # 521019-1 Base Plate Kit for your 2012 Suzuki SX4 is indeed secured to the front side of the frame rails.
Just like most of the Roadmaster Base Plates, the front bumper cover will need to be removed from the vehicle in order to access the front of the frame members so the base plate mounting brackets can be installed.
Before attempting to flat tow the vehicle, I would urge you to consult the owners manual and Suzuki regarding procedures for safely flat towing the vehicle. Some vehicles will require modification in order to be flat towed without damage.
