Where to Install Tireminder Signal Booster for TPMS Setup
Updated 04/07/2021 | Published 04/06/2021 >
Question:
Is it better to have the signal booster closer to the tandem axles on a 5th wheel RV, or closer to the front of the trailer and therefore, closer to the pick-up truck, if the control panel is mounted on the front, drivers side, windshield.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Tireminder recommends installing the signal booster like what comes with the part # TM89FR close to the middle of the towing rig and as far to the outside as possible. So for a fifth wheel trailer setup you'd want to install it as close to the middle point between the rear axle of the trailer and the monitor location.
