Question:

I have a 2018 Mazda CX-9 and am looking for a lightweight arm style 2 bike rack for 2in hitch. Which is better? Trailhead or Titan? I worry about clearance at the back fo the vehicle because my hitch is recessed. I already have a 4 bike swagman that is more of the tire holder mount, not hanging. It’s just too heavy to use off and on my vehicle when I just want to take one or two bikes and I can’t fold it up because of the recessed hitch.

The Swagman Titan # S63410 will give you more room between the center of the hitch pin hole to the center mast. It measures about 14-1/2 inches and the trailhead # S63381 only has 9-1/2 inches. The bike racks are about the same besides some minor things, one of those being the distance between your hitch and the start of the bike rack. I would go with the Titan!
