The # DT38MR has a 1125lb tongue weight rating and 7500lb trailer weight rating, but your Durango may not so you will want to check the owner's manual of your vehicle to confirm its towing capacity and use the lower rating between the hitch and vehicle.

To complete your towing setup you will also need a 4-way connector # 118617, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
