Question:
Hello - looking for advice on a weight distribution hitch with sway control. TV: 2019 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost max tow package with ~1600lb payload. TT: 2021 Grand Design Imagine XLS21BHE GVWR of trailer is 6395. Have yet to pick it up so dont know actual weight. Most others with that trailer are between 700 and 800 TW. Appreciate thougts on hitches. Thx

Simply by knowing the GVWR of the travel trailer, we can make an excellent educated guess as to what the fully loaded tongue weight of the trailer would be, which would range from 700-900 lbs. This figure should include the weight of any cargo in the truck behind the rear axle.
Because travel trailers are especially vulnerable to trailer sway caused by crosswinds and turbulence from passing traffic, I highly recommend going with a system that combines weight distribution with sway control.
The Blue Ox # BLU77FR TrackPro would be ideal if your tongue weight is above 800 lbs, but if it's less, I'd go with the Fastway e2, part # FA92-00-1000. The TrackPro system includes a 2-5/16 inch trailer ball. For the e2, the ball is sold separately. Use # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball or # A-90 for a 2 inch ball.
I've linked to some videos where by friends David and Randy will walk you through the setup process for both hitches I recommended.
