Question:

I am looking for a pin lock for my 2019 F250. The OEM receiver hitch is 2-1/2 ID. I have a sleeve in it to use 2 hitches, but the OD is still ± 3. This should be a common problem for all Super Duty trucks since they all come with 2-1/2 receivers. Not sure why

It sounds like you're in need of a locking hitch pin for your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty, and there are some really great options available. I recommend using the BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Codes to Ford Side-Cut Key # BL7023585, since it codes directly to your vehicle key and can be used on 2", 2-1/2" (Class III, IV, and V), and 3" trailer hitch receivers with a 5/8" pin diameter. I really like that you don't have to worry about ever losing the key to this lock since you'll just use your truck key, so it's extremely convenient.

If you're looking for something a little more economical, the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Flush - 3-5/8" Span - Chrome # e98881 will also work since it has a 3-5/8" span. This locking hitch pin can be ordered keyed alike if you need more than 1, so you'll be able to have locking hitch pins that all use the same keys.
