I need two Shelby Model 5400 wenches but I found out Shelby is out of business. Do you have a recommendation for a replacement wench. I want the same bolt hole pattern if at all possible. Thanks

I do have a recommendation for a winch that will have the same bolt pattern and 400lb weight capacity as your discontinued Shelby Model 5400 winches.

I recommend the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - Single Speed - 12' Strap - 400 lbs # DL16003 which is very similar to your Shelby 5400s, and includes a 2" wide x 12' long strap.

Mounting hardware is not included, so if your current mounting hardware is in bad shape you will need to find the correct replacements at your local hardware store.

@PeterM That specific winch is no longer available but we have the pretty similar Buyers Products part # 337HW800S which would work great instead.

I am trying to find a replacement for my Shelby 5400 and came across this only to discover they are also discontinued. I need a winch flat mounted on the top of my floating PWC dock so the handle has to be ratcheting. Do you have anything that would work?

@Jeremy I suggest using the TowSmart Trailer Winch - Single Speed - Ratcheting part # 348776. It's rated for up to 1,500lbs and has a 20ft long polyester strap with zinc plated hook, making it more than strong enough to load/unload your boat. This winch also uses the bolt pattern the standard bolt pattern that most winches follow so you should be able to just bolt it on.
