Winch Replacement for Shelby 5404

I want to replace this winch and ordered the suggested replacement which was the Dutton DLB1505A. Unfortunately this base is wider than the Shelby. It sits on 3.75 inch wide plate. Is there another winch I should return it for? Or what other options do I have.

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - Freewheel - 1,500 lbs # DL14996 will work on that 3.75 wide plate. The mounting holes are 2-1/4 inches on center and about 3-1/2 inches from the back mount hole. The width of the base is the standard 5 inches wide. If you need something smaller, you will need to reduce the winch capacity and use the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - 1,200 lbs - left hand # DL16331 which has the 3-5/8 inch by 5-1/32 inch base.
