Question:

I have a Shurflo water pump model 2088-422-144 and saw that you offer 2 different replacements. Hydromax P25201 and Flowmax LC689052. Why would I choose one over the other? Thank you,

Picking between the Hydromax # P25201 and the FlowMax part # LC689052 comes down to two things basically. The Hydromax draws 10 amps but has a higher pressure rating at 55 psi whereas the FlowMax # LC689052 has a lower amperage draw at 8 psi and a lower pressure rating of 45 psi.

So if power consumption isn't an issue I'd go with the higher rated pump, but if you are trying to conserve power for any reason I'd go with the lower rated pump.
