RV shower valve lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) so you can wash up after a long day at the campsite. Vacuum breaker makes sure that your dirty shower water won't flow backward and contaminate your clean water supply.

The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Empire Faucets RV Shower Valve with Vacuum Breaker. This is going to allow you to upgrade your shower valve in your RV or camper. It does have a non-metallic abs plastic construction. You can see it does have this biscuit finish, which is not quite white.
It's a little bit more on the yellow or tan side. So hopefully that will match with your current setup and fixtures. This does have the single handle teacup style handle that will allow us to turn on our water. And as we turn it counter-clockwise, it will get hotter and hotter. So we have a nice, fine tune handle on how hot or cold our water is gonna be.
This does have a washerless ball valve that's going to provide smooth turning action and prevent unwanted dripping. It does have a 3-quarter turn single mixing valve that provides that easy temperature control to ensure that your shower is just the right temperature and the diamond ceramic disc cartridge is going to be maintenance free, creates a nice watertight seal when the faucet is turned off. Our vacuum breaker is going to allow you to attach a handheld shower set. That shower set is not included, but you might already have one, should just work with the standard half inch male MPSM here. And that's pretty standard for most of them.
So if you already have one should work there, if not, they are sold separately. That's going to help prevent any backflow contamination of your clean water supply. So it's gonna ensure that the water is only going out to your shower set and not coming back in where it could potentially contaminate your water supply. To get this installed, it's gonna be pretty straightforward, and you've got a 2 hole installation here for your 2 half inch male MPSM connections. This is going to be a wall mount.
So it's going to mount pretty flush up against your wall. The distance between our inlet shanks here, center to center is right at 4 inches. You can see this does have a deck plate and these mounting nuts included. So you can get that snug up against your wall. They do recommend having some tile and tub caulk, to kind of seal that finish, make sure that the installation is gonna be nice and watertight. So water's not gonna get back behind there and cause problems in your wall. Again, that is sold separately, but it should be very easy to pick up some caulk to finish off that installation. This does come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to ever have any issues with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. If you have that biscuit color for some of your other bathroom fixtures, this should blend in for you and provide that handheld shower attachments so that you can get that temperature just right. This faucet was the exact same as what was in the motorhome so swap out was very easy. Faucet worked perfectly as expected and it was shipped same day as ordered so only a few days to receive.
I bought the faucet as a replacement for the one in my trailer which was relatively new and did not have any hot water flow. The new one works so so and I thought the quality was lacking a bit. Time will tell. E trailer was excellent in customer service and shipping.

The old faucet had been broken and leaking for months...I was nervous to order something online for fear it wouldn't fit or would be too complicated to install.
I have a 2013 Keystone Cougar 31' fifth wheel...love my home...and this new faucet fit the old unit perfectly. Original shower handle also usable with the new mixer.
The piece feels well made and the handle is sturdy and rotates smoothly.
Side note...self brags...I am a 31-year-old woman, musician, no plumbing skills, and I installed this bad boy all by myself!

This is a great replacement faucet. I wanted a one handle option and this one works great, no more wasting water to get it to the correct temp. Would definitely recommend. Fast shipping and good customer service.
I recently installed the new shower hardware and it seems to be fine.
I am probably not the best one to give this a review. We found ourselves constantly knocking the lever and changing the temperature drastically while showering. It just didn’t work out for us.
Worked well. It would have 5 stars if it were flipped in the correct direction. You want the outlet facing down not up.
Part one delivery, went well got the items in a few day after ordering. Install coming this weekend.
Product looks awesome. Only thing is on the front of the handle the letter C is warn almost off. not a big thing though

My review is based on the initial installation and first impressions only. I haven’t battle tested this just yet…
As far as looks go, it immediately has a plastic appearance, despite the satin nickel finish. You can see the casting marks on the handle which makes it look cheap(which I guess it is by comparison to a household shower valve). What honestly bothered me more was the large, yellow sticker they placed on the exposed side explaining how to clean it. That sticker was unsightly and a bear to remove. I had to resort to denatured alcohol to remove it, contrary to the label’s explicit instructions not to use anything other than a damp cloth! Well, it held up so I guess I can be happy with that.
As for functionality, it’s doing the job well so far. No leaks, smooth operation, but the best part is, I can figure out how to use it with my eyes closed, which was my biggest gripe with our previous dual knob faucet.
It would be a 5 star review if it weren’t for the cheap looking handle and the blasted sticker. I’m just hoping it holds up. The process of cutting off the sealants and later reapplying new sealants to service the valve has me hoping I won’t have to do it anytime soon.
Product seems to be as advertised and reviewed by others. Although plastic it appears well made and handle moves smoothly. The matte black color matches the redt of the rvs bathroom hardware. I have installed and tested and all is good so far. Thanks E-Trailer.

This valve is so much better than a dual valve you have to figure out what it the best mix of cold and hot water. Glad I made the switch. Add they offer a match brand and color shower head.

The facit was hard to thread into with plastic. I got it to work now with a tiny leak. The facit was worth the price compared to other companies that wanted around $90.00 with shipping for a facit. There was no reason to have a bathtub spout the bath tube is to small for a 1989 type C RV. I don't have two different handles for hot and cold now. Plus,there is no rust.
